Buy and hold gets a bad rap, but that's because most buy and hold "investors" are like Bob Parrish #1 above - letting someone else invest/trade for you. I applaud Bob Parrish #2 - even though market timing seems far more difficult than investing in quality and adding some limited conservative option strategies to juice the returns a bit. Good post. I’m with you – buying and holding quality.

I applaud Bob Parrish #2 – even though market timing seems far more difficult than investing in quality and adding some limited conservative option strategies to juice the returns a bit.
