Buy and hold gets a bad rap, but that&#039;s because most buy and hold &quot;investors&quot; are like Bob Parrish #1 above - letting someone else invest/trade for you.

I applaud Bob Parrish #2 - even though market timing seems far more difficult than investing in quality and adding some limited conservative option strategies to juice the returns a bit.
