Just sold EMR. Bought after the crash in Mar last year. I thought that since a popular issue with many investors, I'd get it on the cheap and keep it. Well, I dumped it since I don't like the company. A good lesson for me, not to follow others when I am not comfortable.
My problem with EMR is on the balance sheet. If Goodwill [The amount overpaid when buying another company is labeled Goodwill, and is placed under Assets.] is removed from assets, then Assets equal Liabilities. Actually Assets are a bit more than Liabilities, but close enough. I also feel that companies, which expand by acquisition and debt, are not my type of company either. I've no faith in that type of management. Grow internally, or pay cash!
Anyway, I feel much better to be rid of it.
